Le nouveau président de la Fédération congolaise de football (Fécofoot) s’est engagé, le 3 octobre, à faire du football national un « puissant facteur de cohésion sociale, d’unité nationale, de développement économique et de rayonnement du Congo à l’horizon 2023 ».

Il entend redorer l’image de la Fecofoot, tout en réhabilitant sa stabilité financière. Elu à l’unanimité, Guy Blaise Mayolas succède à Jean-Michel Mbono dit sorcier qui a été désigné président d’honneur de la Fécofoot.
